Dan (father)
June 21, 1946

Dan was born in Burley, Idaho and graduated from Burley High School in 1965.   He went to the University of Idaho, where he earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting.  He then joined the U. S. Air Force as a Finance officer.   He spent time in Greenland; Duluth, Minnesota; and Elmendorf AFB, Alaska.   After separation, he was in the Washington State National Guard for 4 years.  He went to work for his alma mater, the University of Idaho in the business/accounting department.  There, he was famous for his oatmeal cookies -- a big hit for all the office gatherings.  Dan moved to Birmingham, Alabama in 1979 and married Ramona (aka Scottie) in 1980.   He retired from the Alabama State Education system in 2005.

Scottie became a part of our family in 1980.  She is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in Home Economics.  She works as a Bridal & Formal Wear Consultant in Birmingham, AL.

Margaret (aunt)
March 11, 1945

Margaret was born in Burley, Idaho.  She graduated from Burley High School in 1964; and with a degree in English Education with a minor in Spanish from the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma.  She taught Spanish for several years.   She is retired, and now lives in Birmingham, AL.
